InkTec announces first JETRIX LED UV printer

To be showcased at Sign & Digital UK 2016 (April 19-21 at BEC, Birmingham), InkTec announces the landmark launch of its first LED UV printer, JETRIX LX5. Recognising the desire in the large-format market for more environment-friendly and energy efficient printers, this new JETRIX printer offers lower electricity consumption (35 percent less than when compared with a mercury lamp printer), no warm-up time, less heat created and an extended lamp lifetime (of up to 20,000 hours). Combined with a competitive printing speed of 39 sq/hr in production mode to 11sq/hr for precise fine art printing, the printer is equipped with Konica Minolta printheads (6 picoliter) to deliver the perfect combination of superb print quality and high productivity.

Available with a 4 (C,M,Y,K), 6 (C,M,Y,K,+2 white) or 7 channel (C,M,Y,K,+2 white +1 varnish or primer) colour configuration and driven by InkTec’s specially formulated UV inks, the JETRIX LX5 delivers a wide colour gamut, high colour vibrancy and fast ink curing abilities. With an optional roll to roll system, the new LED curing system really extends the printing capabilities with any heat associated risks, such as media deformation eliminated.
