Leading out-of-home advertising agencies, i.e. Jagran Engage, Selvel Advertising, Times Innovative Media, Prakash Arts, Clear Channel and Laqshya Media have joined hands to form Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA) to tackle the problems in the outdoor advertising on a national level.
The association is helping the local administration and state governments to formulate the standards for outdoor advertising and currently they are helping Muncipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to frame a policy for outdoor media, while talks are on with the Delhi authorities for the similar effort.
