After having marked its presence in the five states, ice-cream maker Havmor now looks to the southern market as it plans to foray into Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh by December this year. The company, which has over 30,000 outlets across eight states — Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Punjab and Telangana — now plans to expand its network to five more states, including Uttar Pradesh (West), Haryana and Chhattisgarh besides two southern states. Currently, Havmor gets its 50 per cent of the revenues from Gujarat followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan. This is no doubt an unrivaled opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-shop branding and display projects.
