H&M to expand physical outlets in India

H&M opened its first store in India in 2015 and currently the company has 48 outlets in 24 cities, now gearing up to expand its physical stores in the country although it is closing down 250 stores globally, betting on the long-term potential of the country, according to a source from company. In India the company is relatively small, but there is great potential to grow with physical stores as well as digital in future. So for H&M physical stores remain incredibly important and the company is ensuring to have right stores at the right locations also in the future. This H&M’s physical store expansion plan in India is an added business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store branding and graphics projects.
