Himalaya Drug plans to expand stores

Herbal health and personal care company Himalaya Drug is expanding its exclusive store footprint in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand to showcase the complete range of its products. At present, the company has nine exclusive stores in the two states, which would be ramped up to 15 in the current financial year. The company even plans to foray into Allahabad, Kanpur and other major towns in UP. Pan-India, the company has about 130 exclusive stores, mostly company owned. New Himalaya Drug stores will stimulate the business of the signage companies engaging in the in-store or retail segment.
