Hexis releases anti-microbial film

Hexis announces the launch of Pure Zone films which contain silver ions, which are set free from the top layer when they come into contact with humidity. These reactive ions rapidly block and destroy bacteria, preventing them from multiplying between two cleaning and disinfection operations. The anti-microbial film PURZON060M/B is an appropriate and reliable solution that meets hygiene and safety requirements. This technically sophisticated and high-quality film provides effective and long-lasting protection for public spaces, buildings and public transportation.

The film can be applied under any circumstances and in all locations with high sanitary requirements, such as clean rooms, cold rooms, nurseries, hospitals and food industries. Its characteristics include cast PVC enriched with silver ions (Ag+), patented technology tested for antimicrobial efficiency (with guaranteed bacteria reduction of 99.99 percent) and tested for skin tolerance under dermatological supervision, permanent solvent-based acrylic adhesive, 60μm thickness and compatibility with cast films printed with the following inks: eco solvent, solvent, Latex and UV. The film is available in 1370mm x 30m.
