Epson adds GS canvas production satin to media line

Epson expands its portfolio of solvent media with the new GS Canvas Production Satin. Designed to meet the needs of high volume production applications achieved with Epson SureColor S-Series solvent printers, GS Canvas Production Satin provides art reproduction houses unmatched image quality at production speeds, while delivering superior resolution and saturation with the traditional look and feel of artist canvas. With an expanded gamut for exceptional colors and industry-leading Dmax for deep, dark blacks, Epson GS Canvas Production Satin is an acid free, lignin free heavyweight cotton-polyester blend ideal for a range of photographic and fine art reproductions.

GS Canvas Production Satin is a 16-mil/360 gsm two over one weave of a cotton/polyester blend base. It features a durable satin finish and can be stretched for popular display applications such as gallery wraps and framed prints without the need for additional varnish or top coat applications, saving time and incremental cost. GS Production Satin media is engineered to offer brilliant image quality and versatility for photographic and fine art reproductions at an affordable price point – up to 33 percent less than most high-end canvas products currently available on the market today.
