Kerala-based digital retail chain myG is aiming at doubling its turnover to Rs 1000 cr in the current fiscal year, with plan to add some than 20 new stores. The firm with 75 retail units selling electronic gadgets mainly mobile phones, laptops and tablets in Kerala will add the new stores in the southern Indian states, which will make it the first retail chain from Kerala other than jewellery and textiles to venture outside the state. Opening of new myG stores will be a new business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store graphic, branding and other related projects.
