Dell plans to hit small cities with unveiling of new stores

Dell plans to step up its retail operations in India through its arm Dell Computer India. The company currently operates 38 exclusive Dell stores pan-India and is expected to double the number in financial year 2011-12. Buoyed by a 65 percent growth in its small and medium business (SMB) segment last fiscal, the company intends to expand its retail presence and sales channel in India, with an increased focus in tier II and III towns. Increase of Dell stores in new destinations will be a new opportunity for the signage companies engaging in activities of in-store displays.
