Avery Dennison expands operations in pressure-sensitive adhesive materials area

Avery Dennison recently announced the expansion of their operations in the pressure-sensitive adhesive materials area. The company has added third coating line, an emulsion coater to their existing line to cater to the needs of the Indian market. “India is one of our most exciting markets, and we are committed to delivering high quality, innovative products and solutions to our customers” said Georges Gravanis, vice president and general manager material group, Asia Pacific, Avery Dennison.

“This expansion represents a milestone for the company. It is a significant expansion in not just capacity but also capability that allows us to service a wider set of customers” revealed Anil Sharma, managing director-South Asia and Sub Saharan Africa, Avery Dennison. Speaking further about the new line, Anil mentioned, “Graphics is a growing area. And we are a serious player in this space. This is the first state-of-the-art asset to deal with the graphics industry and is strategically important.” Avery Dennison is in the process of bringing in new products from their global portfolio in the graphic space to India. “We want to go to the next level in the graphic space and moving beyond just digital. Perforated window films, sparkling films etc., car wrapping, glass and wall graphics, window range, interiors, décor range, these are some of the new ideas we are bringing to the market” Anil remarked.
