Arrow Digital & InkTec expand line of Jetrix UV printers with new Jetrix KX5-R

Arrow Digital & InkTec have launched Jetrix KX5-R, the latest addition to their award-winning range of Jetrix UV printers. Jetrix KX5-Rseries is a standard format 4×8 ft UV flatbed printer, with an optional roll-to-roll system. It has a sleek new look but is still robustly built, keeping in line with all of the printers in the Jetrix range. Like the Jetrix 1212, the Jetrix KX5 utilises next generation Konica Minolta 1024 (6 Picoliter) printheads which offer speeds of up to 30 sq m/hr and a maximum print resolution of 1440 dpi for true photographic quality edge-to-edge printing.

There is also a multi-layer print function built into the easy-to-use operating system. This time-saving feature cleverly enables the user to schedule their print in layers instead of having to do multiple passes. It also features a brand new roll-to-roll system which is 2.2m wide. The KX5 has five basic colours (CMYK & White) and an optional Varnish/Primer channel. The most unique feature of the KX5 model is the brand new proprietary Jetrix UV Primer ink that goes inside it.
