In its post merger with INOX Leisure Ltd, PVR Cinemas has opened an 11-screen multiplex at Phoenix Market City in Chennai. The opening of the 11-screen multiplex also made the company breach the 100-screen milestone in the city following the merger with INOX Leisure, PVR Cinemas said. With the inauguration of the new facilities, PVR Ltd said the merged entity has strengthened its growth momentum and has opened 159 screens across 28 properties in 22 cities this financial year. Such mega expansion move of PVR will offer new business opportunity for the signage company engaging in in-store branding, displays and such applications.
