UK-based kitchen appliances maker Kenwood announces its entry into the Indian market with plans to garner sales of over Rs 55 crore in the next 12 months. The company having 65 models of kitchen appliances is planning to invest US$3 million on marketing its products in India over the next one year. It has also been planned that the company will reach out to around 1000 premium outlets across 120 cities before the Diwali season. Kenwood has tied up with all the leading retailers in the country, including Big Bazaar, Reliance Retail, Hypercity and Tata Croma. Now, big opportunity is going to hit the signage industry, particularly those in-store media majors and associated ones like print service providers, fabricators, etc.
