Patanjali to open stores in premium segments

Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali is now drawing up a strategic plan to launch stores equivalent to the MNC standards. He is planning to open Patanjali mega stores across India starting in the cities of Nagpur and Lucknow, while on the other he has readied a premium brand ‘Soundarya’ to take on the likes of big cosmetics brands such as L’Oreal and Maybelline. The proposed Patanjali mega stores will sell everything from noodles and biscuits to ayurvedic medicines and ghee and the stores will measure around 5,000 sq ft. Signage companies having expertise in in-store designs and branding projects must roll up sleeves to grab this new business opportunity surfaced with the opening of new Patanjali stores.
