Woodland plans for 60 brick-and-mortar stores in India

To strengthen its India franchise network, Woodland has drawn plan to add 60 retail outlets to its current total of over 600 company-owned stores in India. The brand, which also has a presence in over 5,000 multi-brand stores across the country, will concentrate on small towns and metros for its expansion plan. Strengthening its franchise model will help the brand to expand into non-metro towns where there is an emerging customer base. The brand is also working to strengthen its omni-channel strategy and is investing in its online business.
