Urban Ladder plans for 20 new stores by mid-2019

Urban Ladder started as an e-commerce venture selling furniture in 2012. Last year, the company reported a near 70 percent increase in its consolidated revenue, whilst paring losses by 14 percent. The company has since launched physical stores to cater to a wider customer base. The company’s move towards opening of physical stores will be its priority in the next three years. They are looking at opening about 20 stores by March 2019 across the country. It is said that they will experiment with different formats and category specific stores in different cities. Such dynamism in the retail sector is an added business advantage for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store projects.
