ColorJet’s first eco-solvent printer with XAAR MEMS printhead showcased at APPPEXPO 2017

ColorJet India, one of the leading Indian manufacturers of wide-format digital printers, demonstrated its eco-solvent concept printer with XAAR MEMS printhead technology at APPPEXPO 2017 in Shanghai. The expo was one-of- its-kind show that derives its focus from the huge and consistently evolving digital signage industry across the world. XAAR has joined hands with ColorJet to introduce its latest MEMS printheads technology. The two companies worked closely on development and testing in the conceptual stage. The concept eco-solvent printer, which has been developed at the Indian manufacturing facility of Colorjet, has a width of 1.8 m and capable to run at astounding speeds with better print quality, particularly pertaining to dot placements.

“APPPEXPO is an important platform for ColorJet to introduce new technology advancements and solutions and we are delighted to be chosen by XAAR as their preferred technology partner,” said Smarth Bansal, senior product manager at Colorjet India. He added that they believe in bringing stable and efficient technology to their customers with low cost of ownership, and thus help them boost profitability. Founded in 2004, ColourJet India maintains its operations via two manufacturing facilities and sales offices spread across seven countries, which include India , China, Bangladesh , UAE and Sri Lanka.
