Zünd digital cutting solutions have been featured on Discovery Channel’s series Innovations with Ed Begley Jr, focusing on science and technologies. The special episode of the series highlighted Zünd’s advanced cutting systems and range of applications that can be carried out. Introduced by actor Ed Begley Jr and featuring interviews with representatives from Zünd America Inc and Zünd Systemtechnik AG, the programme spotlighted how the cutting machines are built and configured for each individual customer for use in a range of industries – from signage and display to packaging sectors, technical textile, fabric and leather segments, automotive, aerospace and so on. Zund cutting systems are even used for awnings, windsurfing sails and hot air balloons.
The show on Discovery Channel also approached demonstration of the ease of use offered by Zünd systems and, importantly, the ability to reconfigure them for new the materials and markets which the state-of-the-art modular constructions offer.
