XAAR recruits China Glaze as first ceramics ink partner in Asia

XAAR announces China Glaze Company Ltd (Taiwan) as its first Asian Ink Partner with specific focus on the ceramics sector. XAAR is now working closely with China Glaze to optimise the performance of its digital ceramic inks with the Xaar 1001 printhead. China Glaze Company is part of the China Glaze Group and one of Asia’s largest producers of ceramic colours, glazes and frits for the ceramic industry. The $200 million turnover company has been supplying the ceramics market for over 40 years and today employs 800 people across its five production facilities in China, Taiwan and Indonesia.

As of now, 10 major digital ceramic tile printer manufacturers rely on Xaar’s technology for their industrial strength printers. EFI Cretaprint, Hope, KERAjet, Intesa-Sacmi, Meijia, New King Time, Projecta SiTi B&T, Teckwin, TecnoFerrari and TSC have all chosen the Xaar 1001 (GS6 and GS12 variants).
