Woodland to open 11 new stores in Gujarat

Woodland plans to add 11 new stores in Gujarat by March 2013. The company already has 25 stores operational in Gujarat and addition of new stores will take the total number of stores to 36 in the state. In Ahmedabad alone, Woodland already has 8 stores and they have recently opened a new showroom at Law Garden in the city, which is the company’s biggest store in Western India. Two more stores will come up in Ahmedabad this fiscal. The new stores are being planned to locate in various cities of Gujarat, such as Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Nadiad, Ankleshwar, Vapi and Palanpur. Such progression in the retail domain of the region will be an added advantage for the signage players whose activities involve into in-shop/in-store signages, displays and other activities.
