Woodland investing Rs 80-100 crore to set up new outlets

Woodland is investing Rs 80-100 crore to set up new outlets with plans to expand into Tier II and III cities this year. The company plans to add the outlets in the current financial year, of which 40 per cent would be located in smaller cities and towns that are already witnessing the shopping mall culture. The funds required for the network expansion would be raised purely from internal accruals, according to him. The company has a network of 400 outlets. Expansion of Woodland stores would bring in a fresh business for the signage companies dealing in in-store displays and other related activities.
