Vodafone to open 10 global-format stores in Telangana and across AP

As part of its national roll-out, Vodafone will be opening 10 ‘global-format’ stores in Telangana and across Andhra Pradesh over the next five months. The global format store will be launched each at Anantapur, Visakhapatnam and Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad this month, while the remaining will be rolled out in a phased manner. Each of the new company-owned-and-operated stores would have a carpet area of 1,000 s ft and typically involve an investment of between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, depending on the location. Vodafone has over 1,000 stores, including 30 company-owned, in the two states. Telecom is one of the sunshine sectors for signage players and such boost in this sector with the launch of new-format Vodafone stores will be an added advantage for those (signage players) engaging in in-shop displays, designs and related activities.
