Large format printer manufacturers are always offering innovative features in their machines. This time, Gandinnovations has added a new feature to its Jeti 1224 UV flatbed line of printers. And it is the availability of FlexForm UV inks to produce vacuum formable images. The Jeti 1224 flatbeds use FlexForm UV inks and are able to print on materials such as acrylic, which can be then formed within minutes.
It is a simple four-step process: Step1: load the media and print the pre-vacuum graphics using Jeti 1224 UV flatbed and Gandinnovations FlexForm UV inks; Step 2: printed media is ready with no drying time to be transferred to the Formech, vacuum forming machine; Step 3: the printed material is loaded, heated and vacuum formed in Formech and Step 4: the newly vacuum formed graphic is left to cool and is ready to use immediately. The effect is spectacular and the graphics can be used for various signage applications.
