TeckStorm R
Teckwin International, the designer and manufacturers of grand-format solvent and UV flatbed and roll-to-roll inkjet printing systems, recently introduced a new TeckStorm R UV flatbed printer, with greyscale printheads for photographic grade images with white ink and varnish.
The key features of the printing solution are 1440 dpi resolution, up to 386sq ft/hour speed, double side printing on material of thickness 1.97 inch (50 mm) for flatbed and one mm for roll-to-roll media. Teckwin UV curable inks offer a wide range of media printing, including flexible media like canvas, textile, banner, vinyl and wallpaper etc.
Equipped with Xaar Omnidot 760 printheads that deliver variable drop sizes from 7 pl to 40 pl, the TeckStorm R produces a photographic image. The hood minimizes odour, ozone emission and dust particles. The vacuum that holds the media in place automatically adjusts suction. Stirrers in the main ink tanks are designed to eliminate pigment sedimentation. The white ink uses a recirculating system to eliminate pigment sedimentation. A degassing system helps remove air from the ink lines. In addition, a sensor monitors the ink levels and an alarm alerts the user to low ink levels.
“We found that the Teckwins’ TeckStorm R may have been one of the best investments we have made in our business. It has increased our turnover by approximately 50-75% per month in six months since it was installed,” stated Steve Woodward, owner of Signature Signs/BearPrint Screenprinting who recently installed this printer.
