TBZ plans for 16 new stores

Jewellery retailer Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) plans to open 16 stores during the current fiscal. The retailer is launching a free summer camp on jewellery education for women to help them identify genuine quality jewellery. In a filing with the stock exchanges, the Mumbai-based jeweller said since it went public in May 2012, it has opened 12 stores in cities like Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Vapi, Aurangabad etc. The company now has 26 stores in twenty cities across seven states. Gradual expansion of TBZ stores would be an added business opportunity which signage players dealing in in-store display and signages would able to tap.
