TATA Starbucks, a joint venture between Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Global Beverages, has recently inaugurated three stores in Kolkata taking the total count to 113 across seven cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune. The company plans to set up two more stores by the end of March 2018. Tata Starbucks is open to experimenting with ‘different models’ and strategies to suit the requirement of different markets. The company is also looking to come up with offerings with a ‘regional flavour’. Such store-expansion movement by leading MNC brands in the retail domain is an added business advantage for the signage companies engaging in in-store projects, such as branding, graphics and others.
