Tanishq gets set to open 20 large-format stores in 2015

The year 2015 will be a landmark for jewellery major Tanishq which is now planning to open 20 new format stores across the country. The very first Tanishq large format store was opened in Chennai during 2009 and in the jewellery market, the company’s market share is below four percent. Organised retailing is growing at a 12 percent to 15 percent rate in India. Now the focus is on capturing larger market share. Gradual expansion in the retail domain with the launch of new format stores will be an added advantage for the signage players, such as PSPs, sign makers, branding majors, etc whose activities revolve around in-shop designs and displays.
