SUN LLC unveils UV-LED Evolution

Made in Russia and hitting the Indian market in a big way is Sun Neo UV-LED Evolution from SUN LLC. This new 2.5 m UV flatbed printer is a revolutionary machine designed for both on rolled and rigid materials of up to eight-inch thickness. “There are certain features of this machine making this as an evolutionary piece,” remarks Ajay Sharma, business development head, SUN LLC India adding that Sun UV-LED, unlike other conventional UV-LED printers, has LED block, which can perform much better than LED lamp in terms of durability.

Sun Neo UV-LED Evolution is based on green technology, as it has no ozone emissions. Equipped with 10 printheads (2 heads for each colour) with a printing speed of 20 sq m/hr, advantage of this machine is flexibility to upgrade its parts/technology in future. What needs to be added to the machine is a security system similar to ‘black box’—information about all the fulfilled operations to be kept in the system viz. printed files, quantity of waste etc.
