SUMMA S Class 3 cutters feature OPOS camera with onboard image processing

SUMMA’s newly launched SUMMA S Class 3 vinyl roll cutters are designed for experienced users needing top performance in cutting applications, according to reports by the company. The Class 3 cutters features a line of advancements that include OPOS (Optical Positioning System) camera with onboard image processing, barcode workflow with enhanced roll-up system, Smart Object Sorting feature designed to select the best starting point when cutting objects, user-friendly GoSign cutting software, and large media roll.

Users of SUMMA S Class 3 can now choose between three cutting heads: D Series drag cutting head, T Series tangential cutting head, or TC Series performance cutting head and OPOS camera. Four configurations are also available as: S3 75, for media widths between 2.4 and 33 inch; S3 120, for media widths between 4.5 and 51.2 inch; S3 140, for media widths between 6.7 and 57.1 inch; and S3 160, for media widths between 6.7 and 66.1 inch.
