Gobal coffee house chain Starbucks opened its first store in Vapi, Gujarat. Spread across 1,550 sq ft area, the new outlet is located at the Galaxy High Street shopping complex in the city. Starbucks Corporation entered India in October 2012, starting its first store in Mumbai. The American coffee chain operates in India through collaboration with Tata Global Beverages. Together both companies have formed a 50:50 JV called Tata Starbucks Pvt Ltd, which operates all Starbucks outlets in India. Gradual expansion of Starbucks outlets in new cities is an added business advantage for the signage companies engaging in in-store graphics, designs and such tasks.
