Spencer's investing Rs 100 cr to open more mega stores

RPG Enterprises’ retail arm Spencer’s Retail will invest about Rs 100 crore to open up to 15 large stores across the country this year. Part of its growth strategy, the company will focus on expanding in the Tier-II cities. Spencer’s currently has 26 large-format stores with over one million square feet of retail space. Opportunity offering in the launch of the large stores is signage players, particularly in-store sign companies as well as those print providers, who would find a new room to exploit in a big way.
