Siser, a leading manufacturer of high-quality, cuttable heat transfer vinyl, digital media, decal vinyl (EasyPSV) and others, has announced the launch of new compostable heat-transfer films. Following on from five-year collaboration between Siser and University of BioTechnology of Padua, Italy, Siser’s PureHT signifies a major advancement in eco-conscious manufacturing. While conventional materials may take upwards of 20 years to degrade, polluting water sources and soil, PureHT undergoes natural decomposition by microorganisms within 180 days, leaving behind no harmful residue or negative environmental impact.
All new Siser compostable heat-transfer films are available in nine colours – Black, White, Stone Grey, Ultramarine Blue, Moss Green, Amber Yellow, Russet Brown, Paprika Red, and Autumn Orange. These films are innovative formula that compost with no environmental impact. All are with 90-micron thickness for a soft touch and matte finish for a natural look. The films are excellent workability, comparable to our popular EasyWeed line, which is layerable for versatile customisation options. In addition, these films are Oeko-Tex certified.
