Sihl has announced a partnership with Mimaki to provide no charge sample rolls of Sihl’s Fusion Flexible Film Line with the purchase of a new Mimaki UJV-160 roll-to-roll and flatbed UV Curable Inkjet Printer. Sihl has been a long time partner with Mimaki in offering inkjet media targeted for specific market segments beginning with the aqueous JV4.Â
Mimaki’s decision to include a broad range of Sihl Fusion flexible film samples with the shipment of the UJV-160 will enable print providers to create the type of signs and displays that were previously only possible with solvent or aqueous inkjet printer technology. Sihl Fusion Films Sample includes: Sihl 3191 Fusion Light-Block Film 5 mil Gloss, a five mil polyester film with a grey backing layer is designed to be 100 percent opaque; and Sihl 3192 Fusion White Film 4 mil Gloss, a four mil white polyester film is 95 percent opaque and is constructed from a high quality dimensionally stable base with an anti-static backcoat.
