Leading jewellery maker Shree Ganesh Jewellery House Ltd (SGJHL) is planning to set up 20 large format retail stores across the country with an estimated investment of around Rs 1000 crore during the current fiscal. The company operates retail business through its retail brand, Gaja. Also, the company is planning to open four such stores in Gujarat. The BSE-listed SGJHL currently has around 46 retail outlets out of which two are large format stores with area in the range of 10,000-15,000 sq ft. The existing two large format stores are located at Mumbai and Kolkata each. Rapid expansion of the company’s retail footprints at pan-India level would be a fresh business opportunity for the signage players too!
