At the recent Viscom 2014 concluded in Frankfurt, Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s had been awarded the Viscom Best of 2014 Award in the ‘Large Format Printing’ category. The jury justified its decision as, since its introduction to the market, the inkjet printer has become a popular best-seller for indoor and outdoor applications with a high level of customer satisfaction. Especially the possibility for “unattended printing”, made possible through simple operation via social networks, such as Twitter, were just as impressive as the print speed. That has made the Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s to a real high-flyer in universal large format printing.
Another Viscom highlight was Seiko Instruments’ presentation of its latest generation of ColorPainter H-Series: having ColorPainter H2-104 as a basis it will run with eco solvent SX-ink and most of ColorPainter M-64s’ path breaking technology will be implemented in order to achieve up to now unknown print results in this range. So digital printing experts can look forward to the official product launch of the new ColorPainter H-Series generation at the beginning of 2015.
