The Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) has announced the 2007 annual Design Awards winners, the best in environmental graphic design, at the SEGD Conference & Expo held recently.
The winners in Honor Awards category include:
Thailand Creative & Design Center; National World War I Museum; Arizona Cardinals Stadium; Wall of Discovery; Los Angeles Metro and Alesari.
The winners in Merit Awards category include:
Uniqa Tower; City Museum; Nativity; Eureka Carpark; PMP Wall; The High Style of Dorothy Draper; Toronto Botanical Garden; Sarah Lawrence College Heimbold Visual Arts Center; Children’s Museum of the East End; Absolut Flavor Suite; The Savvy Gourmet; Van Nuys Flyaway; Archiving Memory: A Public Artwork and Memorial; The Hearst Building Sign Program; The Museum of the Portuguese Language; Newport Tower Marketing Center; 7 World Trade Center; and Black Flys Concept Store.
The winners in Juror Award category include:
Downtown Los Angeles Walks; Wayne Lyman Morse United State Courthouse; Asian Tropics Exhibit Master Plan; Golden Gates National Recreation Area Signage Plan; Griffith Observatory Exhibits, where as Lot with Little Awards winners are Remembering Boston’s Children 1980-2005; nectar; and 365: AIGA Annual Design Exhibition 27.
