SAS launches LED ‘digital poster’ banners

SAS (Signage Accessories Suppliers) in Australia showcased an innovative new opportunity in that space at PacPrint with its ‘portable’ digital LED equivalent. Clearly the LED banners win the visual impact battle when comparing with their printed cousins. The LED system enables the colours to pop, also allowing motion, even video files to be run, instead of a static sign or message. Nor are they out-priced as an alternative, when you consider that every use of the LED banners can carry a different message/image/content which would demand several versions of the static option.

Perhaps the only downside is that they need a plug to play and, given that these are effectively still portable LED screens, they are not quite as easy to lug around as the tried and tested printed banner that can be easily stowed in the upper cabin on your flight to the next State in your roadshow. This solution gives flexibility in making multiple changes on the fly and even remotely, opening up a whole range of new opportunities for SAS. Currently available in two primary sizes – 640mm x 1920mm or 960mm x 1920mm, the panels can be free-standing or wall-mounted. (PHOTO: Image Magazine)
