ROQ has unveiled the ROQ PEEL, an innovative solution that fully automates the removal of direct-to-film (DTF) backing sheets in the heat-press decoration process. This new device enables up to 500 garments per hour to be decorated with the entirely automated ROQ IMPRESS system. ROQ PEEL is a breakthrough technology that streamlines a previously manual process, significantly enhancing efficiency and productivity in decorated-apparel production using DTF heat transfer. The DTF process has seen rapid adoption in the apparel industry, particularly for its versatility and high-quality results.
Even with the use of automated presses, operators have traditionally been required to manually place transfers and remove the backing medium after decoration. The introduction of ROQ PEEL eliminates this manual step, automating the peeling process and allowing operators to focus on loading and unloading T-shirts. Designed to operate seamlessly with the ROQ FEED automatic transfer placement machine and the ROQ IMPRESS multi-platen heat press, the ROQ PEEL transforms the heat-press workflow into a fully automated system. Operators simply thread blank T-shirts onto a platen and remove them once decoration is complete, with no need for manual peeling.
