Roland DGA reformulates its V-Bond Ink for flatbed systems

Roland DGA has formulated V-Bond Ink now compatible with the company’s flatbed systems including VersaObject CO Series and VersaUV LEC2 S-Series UV printers. The durable, scratch-resistant ink is now positioned as a safer alternative to standard UV inks, according to the company. Additional features include long-term outdoor durability, adherence to a wide variety of substrates, expanded colour gamut, and safety and compliancy benefits for nickel- and phthalate-free composition, and air-shipping compliance.

As the company has re-launched V-BOND, here are some features of the ink that interpret how this V-BOND is different from others when compared. V-BOND is a much more than a compliant ink – it images beautifully, has excellent adhesion on media that can sometime be a challenge, has a wide colour gamut, and it’s easier on the printers when it comes to service and upkeep.
