Roland DGA has announced the addition of two new media offerings to its consumable product line up – Semi-Gloss Adhesive Canvas (ESM-SGAC) and View Thru Adhesive Film (ESM-VTAF). The introduction of these premium products further expands the selection of high-quality media Roland DGA currently offers for a wide range of applications. Semi-Gloss Adhesive Canvas images beautifully on eco-solvent, latex/resin, and UV ink platforms while also offering greater impact, versatility, and tear resistance than paper-based media, making it perfect for the “on demand” photographic reproduction market. The proprietary, permanent synthetic mounting adhesive makes it possible to apply canvas images almost anywhere, allowing for simple mounting to a multitude of surfaces without the stretcher bars or gasket framing traditional canvas/fabric prints typically require.
Semi-Gloss Adhesive can also be applied quickly and easily to a variety of challenging flat wall, panel, and display surfaces, such as Ecor, HDF, Paper, Aluminum, Glass, Rigid PVC, Masonite Board, and Polycarbonate. Also joining the Roland DGA media family is new View Thru Adhesive Film – a universally printable 80/20 perforated one-way vision media with removable adhesive that’s ideal for use on glass in offices, stores, medical facilities, schools, and other settings where privacy is important. This 6.5 mil PVC film allows for 80% of the media to be printed on, while the other 20 percent of the media, with its perforated 1.5 mm hole pattern, enables one-way, see-through security.
