Roland DG has announced the worldwide sales launch of the newest addition to its VersaSTUDIO Series—GS2-24 vinyl cutter, which was previously available in only limited regions. This new VersaSTUDIO is a desktop product line developed by Roland DG to enable anyone to do what was previously possible for only a limited number of professionals, says a release. The VersaSTUDIO line-up includes a wide range of digital devices, including a vinyl cutter, printer cutters, engravers and a laser decorator. Their compact sizes, easy-to-use operation, and affordable prices make it possible for those without expertise to easily produce a variety of profitable, high-quality products.
VersaSTUDIO GS2-24 vinyl cutter supports a maximum cutter pressure of 500 gf and maximum cutting speed of 850 mm/sec. It can cut a wide range of materials with high productivity and precision, from thin heat transfer sheets and window films to thick paper and even rubber sheets for sandblasting, as well as popular vinyl. Inclusion of Roland CutStudio design software makes this cutter easy to create cutting data such as text, simple shapes, and illustrations.
