As a new landmark in innovations, Roland DG announces that its all new TrueVIS VG-640 and VG-540 printers can be shipped with configuration for White Ink, alongside updated versions of machine and VersaWorks Dual firmware. Access to white ink will give PSPs using VG series printers the chance to add further versatility to their print business. Available in 500 cc pouches, the White ink is an economical solution to producing ‘white’ prints on a variety of media, with good scratch resistance and fast drying. Roland VersaWorks Dual, which is included with the TrueVis range, has an automatic White generation from artwork facility. This technology allows White data to be created by several methods including where there is colour data, where there is no colour data or the entire image area.
