Reliance Retail to expand its cash and carry formats

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries while announcing its quarterly financial results said that its revenue from the group’s retail arm grew by over 44 percent to Rs 7,749 crore as compared to the corresponding period last year. With the start of the festival season and improved process efficiencies, the company witnessed strong same store sales growth ranging from 10-25 percent across formats over last year. On the back of the festive season Reliance Jewels opened 5 stores taking the total tally to 45 while Reliance Digital, Reliance Trends and Reliance Footprint together operate over 325 stores collectively and looking forward to aggressively expand its cash and carry formats, Such rapid expansion plan of the company would bring in fresh business opportunity to the signage companies whose activities involved largely in in-shop signages, POPs, designs, etc.
