Consumer electronics retail chain Reliance Digital is planning to add 100 new stores in more than 40 new cities across India by 2021, even as it expands its omni-channel capabilities at its existing 360 stores. The company is part of Mukesh Ambani’s Rs1,30,566 cr Reliance Retail with interests in grocery, apparel, and electronics. The company plans to expand its consumer durables business as it seeks to reach more households in India. The new plan of Reliance Digital is to add stores in existing cities and such store expansion move of the company will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store branding, signage and display projects.
