Pavers eyes further expansion in India

As footwear retailers from across the globe, sees greater possibilities of selling more shoes in a budding market like India, many of them intend on expanding their business into the country. Few others such as Pavers, a leading British footwear retailer, while pre-empting competition, is basically modifying its presence in the country. Though, the company by way of a joint venture with Foresight, a UK based shipping and oil drilling firm, penetrated in India in 2008, till date it could just manage to have five franchisee outlets and 90 departmental and multi-brand stores. Pavers’ expansion is paving a new business opprtunity for in-store media companies as well as other signage players like PSPs, fabricaters, sign makers, etc.
