HP’s newly launched PrintOS Production Hub large-format software enables print businesses to move away from manual operations management for wide-format print, towards the automation of everything from order taking to production flow. Initially only able to ‘talk’ to HP printers, HP PrintOS Production Hub combines remote print queue control and centralised order intake facilitating an end-to-end capability whereby users can remotely create orders, access order history and customer information history and track orders across their workflow, sending them directly to print systems through the rip.
The HP Production Hub consists of: Print Beat – which allows users to access and download printer job information remotely to make accurate, data-driven decisions; Configuration Centre – remote, real-time (re) configuration of large-format printers, with automatic backups; PrintOS Learn – a central learning platform to enable users to track individual/personalised learning based on profile and device; Mobile App – the capacity to monitor printer status and completed jobs ‘anytime, anywhere’ through a PrintOS mobile app; Service Centre – a single view portal for opening and tracking all service cases to increase printer uptime through remote support; HP Applications Centre – enabling customers to design a variety of large-format applications, from wall-coverings and banners to roll ups and stickers, in just minutes; Media Locator – making it easy to find the right media solutions for optimal ink adhesion, operability, and colour profiling. A reduction in operational complexity and enhanced operational efficiencies are the primary benefits of the new HP PrintOS Production Hub. HP PrintOS Production Hub is only currently available with HP printers
