Mimaki launches JV5-320DS printer

Mimaki Engineering Co Ltd has announced its new large-format direct and dye-sublimation printer JV5-320DS. This new printer enables direct printing on polyester substrates up to a width of 3.2 m. The productivity and quality features of JV5 have been merged in this model to produce outstanding results on textiles on the superwide-format printer.

Bsed on the solvent superwide-format printer JV5-320S that was introduced in 2007, JV5-320DS is designed for high productivity and accurate print quality requirements in the outdoor signage market. As the exterior signage market is experiencing growing demand for outside signage on polyester textiles, for instance, for flags, banners, so called soft signage, that are better catered to with water-based dye-sublimation inks, Mimaki has designed this JV5-320DS.
