MGX has announced the release of two groundbreaking products at this year’s PRINTING United Expo 2025, which is scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida. The two new products are: Unilustre™ Metallized Board and ReadyMAG® Pre-Magnetized Magnet Paper. Both are engineered to empower commercial printers and designers with high-performance, production-ready substrates that combine innovation and versatility. Developed in collaboration with Unifoil Corporation, Unilustre™ is a premium-grade, plastic-free, solvent-free, and certified 100 percent repulpable and recyclable metallized board. Designed for compatibility with HP Indigo, Dry Toner, and Offset presses, Unilustre™ enables printers and brand designers to achieve striking metallic effects while meeting their environmental goals.
Available in Silver and Rainbow finishes and in 14 pt and 18 pt gauges, Unilustre™ gives designers and printers the flexibility to create premium, eye-catching pieces—all with a sustainable edge. At the expo, Unilustre® will also be showcased in a special collaboration between Color-Logic, Unifoil, and several major OEM partners—demonstrating the creative potential of this innovative metallized board. Renowned comic-book artist Greg Horn has created a series of collectible art pieces enhanced with Color-Logic’s metallic embellishment technology and printed on Unilustre® Foil Board, revealing how white + CMYK can interact with the board’s mirror-like surface to produce stunning visual effects.
