METRO Cash & Carry opens 13th distribution center

METRO Cash & Carry, the global leader in self-service business-to-business wholesale, announced the opening of its Vijayawada wholesale distribution centre in the heart of the city at Mogalrajpuram. This is METRO Cash & Carry India’s 13th wholesale distribution centre in the country and its third in Andhra Pradesh, after two in Hyderabad at Moosapet and Uppal. METRO has invested close to INR 60 crores in infrastructure, supply chain, customer support programme and employee training and development at its Vijayawada outlet, which is spread across 56,000 sq ft. Such rapid development in the retail sector of the country would bring in fresh business to the signage players whose activities involve in in-shop/in-store signage and display items.
