Kongsberg Cutting Systems acquires MultiCam

Further reinforcing its position in the digital finishing market, Kongsberg Cutting Systems has acquired MultiCam Inc USA, which manufactures and distributes CNC cutting machines and digital finishing processes. The acquisition of MultiCam, including its operations in the US and sales offices in Canada and Germany, expands Kongsberg’s market reach and customer base across North America and Europe, creating a worldwide diversified provider of digital finishing and CNC cutting machines.

The acquisition comes just five months after Kongsberg was established as a stand-alone business after being acquired by OpenGate Capital. Since 1965 the Kongsberg name has been synonymous with innovation.
